Whether you are interested in semesters abroad at partner universities, clinical traineeships or one third of practical year – the Faculty of Medicine helps students gain experience abroad while they study. The International Center at Kiel University is there to assist you with all your requirements, too.

The Faculty of Medicine also has partnerships with universities in Europe, USA, Central America and Asia and each year welcomes a large number of clinical trainees and ERASMUS students from abroad.

Available as part of the Master's Degree Programme Medical Life Sciences is a student exchange with Stellenbosch University, South Africa, which offers students the opportunity to produce their Master’s thesis in conjunction with a research stay at the Department of Biomedical Sciences in South Africa. The Faculty of Medicine currently offers two scholarships in support of the research stay.
